Weaving Overshot & Pumpkin

I have never woven overshot & wanted to try it. I picked out a project from Handwoven magazine that was a beginner's overshot pattern. It said "If you've never tried overshot & have wanted to, this is the perfect project for you." Perfiect! So in I dove! It is potholders, the warp is rug warp & the weft is Peaches & Cream yarn, doubled. It was very easy & fun and it worked up quickly. It made I think 6 potholders.

I have them on finished with the little loop & everything, I just have to get a minute to take pictures of them.

My sister got a new kitty. His name is Pumpkin & he is part Persian. He is adorable! Funny, his eyes look blue in these pictures but in person they are not anymore, they have already started changing.

Aint' he cunnin'!!

Sadie wanted to play with him. He would make these little spitting noises at her that were so cute.

That's it for now. Just a quick post.
TTFN!
